Summary
Christophe Vacher is a two-time Emmy Award Winner and two-time Annie Award Nominee who has provided artwork and Art Direction for the Hollywood entertainment industry since 1989.
Originally French, he relocated to California in 1996, where he worked for Walt Disney Pictures, Dreamworks, Universal Studios, Focus Features and Hasbro, among others. His credits as a background painter and concept artist include “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Runaway Brain”, “Hercules”, “Tarzan”, “Fantasia 2000”, “Dinosaur”, “Treasure Planet”, and “Sharktale”.
He was Art director on the animated segment of the movie “Enchanted”, on the movie “9”, and on the two TV series "Transformers Prime" and "Transformers RID". He won two Emmy Awards (2011 and 2012) for his work on “Transformers Prime”, and was nominated twice at the Annie Awards, once in 2010 for his art direction of the movie "9" and again in 2012 for his work on "Tranformers Prime."
His most recent Art Directing projects were the Dreamworks/Netflix CG animated series "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" and the upcoming Disney+ feature animated series “Iwaju.”
